By Johnny started life as a small stall in Sydney’s iconic Paddington Markets. The label really took off after the designer Johnny Schembri came third in Foxtel Australia’s version of Project Runway. Johnny a firm fan favourite quickly gathered a cult following amongst the fashion crown and was known for his strong silhouettes and flattering designs.

In the past few seasons the brand has gone from strength to strength showing a series of collections at Australian Fashion Week. The collections have covered the gauntlet of design from floaty stunning dresses to colour blocking intensity to fierce form fitting neoprene whilst staying true to the designers feminie aesthetic. Johnny Schembri also designs all of the prints used in his designs making a By Johnny piece both recognisable and exclusive.
