That’s why some lenders offer a try-on option that allows you to borrow the dress for one day, at a lower cost than the standard hire, for the sole purpose of trying on your dress. If it fits well and you love it, you can then move forward to a standard booking hire, or you can send the dress back and re-book it in time for your special event.
How long can I hire the dress for?
The standard hire period offered by all lenders at The Volte is four days. To decrease the risk of your outfit arriving late, we recommend you organise your dress hire with your event falling on the third day of the hire period. Some lenders will also agree to lend their dresses for an extended hire period of eight days at a slightly higher price. You’ll need to contact the lender just prior to making your booking to find out whether this is possible. If you need your Mister Zimi dress in a hurry, we recommend choosing a local lender so that you can get your dress faster. In some cases you can even arrange to pick up your dress directly from the lender so there is no risk of not having it in time for your special event. Once you are finished with your dress, you can simply send it back in the pre-addressed post-bag that will be provided. Unless you have made a special arrangement with your lender, dry-cleaning costs will typically be included in the hire fee.
