What do I do if the dress doesn’t fit?
Before renting your favourite Scanlan Theodore dress from The Volte, you’ll be able to view at least one image as well as read a description, including the size of the dress, on the website. You can also contact the lender prior to hiring the dress if you have any questions about fit. As long as the listing is 100% accurate with its sizing and the lender has honestly answered all your questions to the best of their ability, we won’t be able to offer refunds if the dress doesn’t fit perfectly, and of course, you won’t be able to do alterations.
However, if you are concerned about whether the dress will fit well or not, many lenders offer a lower try-on price which allows you to receive an item for one day for the purpose of trying it on before you commit to hiring it. Once you’ve tried it on, if it’s a good fit you can then put through a full hire booking, or return it immediately and book it again for when you want to wear it.
How do I return my dress?
When you hire your Scanlan Theodore dress, it will come with a pre-addressed post-bag. Once you’ve finished wearing your dress, you can simply use the post-bag to send it back directly to the lender. Remember to always post express parcels in the special yellow express post boxes, otherwise, you’ll miss out on the express return. Unless you’ve made a special arrangement with the lender, the dry-cleaning cost is usually included in the fee you paid so you won’t need to wash it before returning it.
