We are entering an extremely exciting phase of growth and global expansion. Having recently completed a full modern stack rebuild, our marketplace platform is ready to be extended to cement our position in Australia and rapidly develop our brand and product offering in overseas markets.

This is rare opportunity to join a rapidly scaling and well-funded business as a leader in technology. Reporting to the CTO, you'll have responsibility across all of our in-house stack. The focus will be on cloud optimisation, devops and back-end software engineering - however you'll need to be familiar with front end development principles and help with code reviews across all projects.
As a senior engineer in a small team you'll be empowered to own the system and make design decisions to achieve excellent business outcomes. Our modern, component-based stack is open for extension or alternatives as you see fit. This role will suit an experienced engineer looking for an opportunity to learn and build with new technologies.
You will also help with maintaining the reliability of our our heavily trafficked site. Some pager duty will be required on roster (current incident average is zero per month).
This is a full-time role, however we can be flexible with regard to the amount of days to suit the right candidate's circumstances.
To be eligible for this role you must be a residing in Australia, New Zealand or the UK; and be a citizen or permanent resident or have a valid visa that provides working rights.
